Parametric Furniture
A parametric, modular storage system whose milling drawings generate themselves — a cabinet that folds together from single CNC-cut pieces, with no screws, glue or hinges, and can be shredded and recycled as one material at end of life.

A cabinet that draws itself
The brief was a parametric cabinet-and-closet system: modular, expandable, and — because everything is CNC-milled — able to generate its own milling drawings for different arrangements and conditions. Handed to me as a testing task for an intern, it turned out to be as much fun as it was a challenge, and a good way to flex some design muscles.
I paired it with the fabrication studio work I was doing in school, which produced a foldable door made from a single piece: no screwing, no nails, no glue to assemble, and no hinges. At the end of its life the whole closet can be shredded and recycled as a mono-material product.

One system, many arrangements
Because the geometry is parametric, the closet is not a fixed object but a family: change the dimensions or the layout and the milling drawings regenerate to match, so the same logic produces different cabinets for different walls.

Beyond the closet
The same appetite spilled into other pieces — some reworkings of the wardrobe design, some improvements on existing open-source designs like open-desk, upgraded to use no glue, fewer parts, more efficient material, and to hide the visually awkward connections in new ways.
